Debswana

Debswana commissioned ADP to design, fabricate, construct and commission a Logwasher facility to treat the Main Treatment Plant Tailings prior to the Recrush Plant. The material has a high clay content and is problematic to treat. ADP appointed QVA for the Mechanical design and fabrication of a 300 TPH unit. This was the first unit manufactured in South Africa of this size. The unit was commissioned in December 2008 as a pilot facility and is being operated successfully. Debswana may utilise more of these units in production after the test period.
