Based in Cape Town, ADP Projects (Pty) Limited is an engineering design company, specialising in providing Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Management (EPCM) and Modular Plant services to national and international marine and land-based diamond, mineral sands, coal and gold mining industries.
ADP started its operations in 1998 and boasts an impressive list of successful mining industry projects in Canada, Brazil, India and Australia. Today ADP is the leading supplier of modular processing plants to the diamond mining industry, having supplied diamond plants and diamond mining equipment to De Beers, Debswana, Trans Hex, Gem Diamonds and Petra Diamonds, to name a few.
ADP's main focus, however, is on the African continent. ADP Projects has built and supplied modular mining plants to most major diamond mines in South Africa, Namibia, Angola, Zimbabwe, Tanzania, DRC and Sierra Leone.

Marine & DredgingADP Marine & Dredging division is continuously developing systems and mining methods whereby untapped diamond resources, which lie within gulleys in the high impact wave zones between the previous mined out point and the accessible offshore deposits within the Namibian diamond mining licence area, can be extracted. In addition, previously completed projects include a number of river dredging solutions across African in conjunction with ADP's reputable technical partners. |

Mineral SandsIn 2000 Richards Bay Minerals (RBM), a 50/50 JV between BHPB and Rio Tinto, contracted ADP to toll process and pump 1000 tph of Minerals Sands on a build own and operate basis (B.O.O) over a four year period. The project was commissioned in order to treat extensive, non-dredgeable reserves at RBM. |
